Switching broadband is easier than most people think — these days you only ever deal with the company you're joining. You never have to have the awkward phone call with your old provider. Here's how it goes.

Sign up with us
Choose a plan and tell us who your current provider is. That's your whole to-do list done.
- 2Same day
We let your old provider know
It happens automatically through the official switching system. They'll send you a letter confirming any end-of-contract details — if anything in it looks odd, just ring us.
- 3Within a few days
Pick your installation slot
Choose a time that suits you. A fully qualified installer sets everything up and makes sure it all works before they leave. It's free.
- 4Switch day
New connection on, old one off
Your old service stops the day ours starts. No paying for two services, no days without internet, and the old direct debit ends on its own.
- ✓And if we're late…
You're compensated automatically
If your activation is delayed, you get money back for every day — automatically, under the industry compensation scheme. No claim forms.
Install day — a Wales-based visit, free on every plan.
The questions everyone asks first.
"Will I lose my email address?"
Only if it ends in your old provider's name. Most providers let you keep it for a small fee — and our team will happily help you move to an address that's yours forever.
"I'm still in contract."
Your old provider may charge a leaving fee — their letter will say exactly what. Sometimes it's worth waiting a month or two; ring us and we'll tell you honestly which is cheaper.
"What about my phone number?"
Ask about our home phone option when you order and we'll bring your number with you as part of the same switch. Your usual handset just plugs into the new router.
